Do I need a Google Ads account already?+
No. If you have one, Draper will use it. If you don't, we'll help you create one when you connect Google. Either way, the account stays in your name — you own it forever.
Why don't you take a percentage of ad spend like agencies?+
Because incentives matter. Percentage-of-spend pricing rewards us for spending more of your money, not for making you more money. A flat monthly fee means we're paid the same whether your campaign costs $5/day or $500/day. Our only goal is making the campaign work.
What does 'auto mode' actually do?+
Auto mode lets Draper apply small, reversible optimizations on its own — pausing wasteful keywords, adding negative keywords, adjusting bids within tight bounds, rotating in fresh ad copy. Anything bigger (budget changes, new ad groups) is always queued for your approval. You can switch to recommend mode anytime.
Will my campaign go live without me approving it?+
Never. Draper builds the entire campaign and parks it in paused state. You review keywords, ads, and budget, then click 'Launch.' Nothing spends until you say so.
What does Draper actually see when I connect Google?+
Only your Google Ads account — campaigns, keywords, performance metrics, and the ability to create or modify campaigns you authorize. Draper does not access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from the dashboard. Your Google Ads account stays yours, your campaigns stay running (or you can pause them), and we don't hold anything hostage.
How is Draper different from Google's own AI tools?+
Google's AI is optimized for Google's revenue. Draper's AI is optimized for your conversions. We use Claude (by Anthropic) to write better ad copy, filter out wasteful keywords Google would happily charge you for, and read the actual conversion signal — not vanity metrics.
